Superhero Science Day! 18/11/19

We had a fantastic day and the children all looked wonderful as superheroes!

We learnt about our 5 senses and explored how we may need to use these as scientists.

We also learnt about the human body including body parts and organs.

A particular highlight of the children's day were the taste tests!

Thank you for all of your support in making this day a success.

Nature Morning 29/1/20

We had a fabulous morning exploring the school grounds- we are so lucky to have such amazing areas to support our learning here at school.  We went on a nature walk and spotted lots of different trees and minibeasts.  We also went on a scavenger hunt and visited the wildlife area.  We hunted for 'Stickmen' in the woods and had to tally how many we could see!

We loved being mini explorers and had a great time.  Well done to all of Year 1!
