Our School Newspaper - The Highcliffe Hub
At Highcliffe St Mark Primary we value writing outcomes in all forms. The school newspaper provides a valuable educational experience for our pupils allowing them to develop their communication skills, team-work and working to deadlines. It gives children a different perspective on writing, encouraging them to be curious and develop an informed and balanced view on a range of events, beliefs and values. Pupils have the opportunity to contribute independently and have their voices heard. Reading the newspaper, as a class and individually, engages the children and fosters a thirst for knowledge about the world around them and lays the foundation for being global citizens.

Welcome to our very special edition of The Highcliffe Hub.
We hope you enjoy reading and learning about the fantastic learning and fun that happens in our school and community. This half-term, we have focussed on King Charles III's Coronation, looked at previous monarchs and shared how we have celebrated the occasion at our school.
Our next Highcliffe Hub will be our final edition for our school year before the summer holidays. We would love to know what you have planned so please share your ideas with us. Perhaps, you are celebrating what a fantastic year your class have had...Let us know!
The Y6 Editors meet in the Hive on a Wednesday during registration time or you can share your idea with Mrs Hughes and Miss Kingham or your class teacher.
