Learning From Home

Dear parents/carers,

Here are some ideas with how to set up learning from home:

1) Don't try to replicate school at home; you have other things to do!

2) Make a timetable with your child, and give them ownership over it (see below for an example timetable). Personalise it to your child and your circumstances

3) Choose 2 or 3 activities (1 Maths or English and one Topic) from the plans below per day.

4) Alongside this, make the most of real-world learning e.g. baking, gardening, telling the time etc.

5) Start with a small chunk of learning each day to get used to your routine.  More can then be added as you become used to your routine.
