Home Learning – 16th December 2022

Well done Year 5 on completing the autumn term!

Over the Christmas holidays, we would like you to complete a book review on a book of your choice. We would also like you to complete the ‘Emoji’ maths activity.

Thanks for your support,

Year 5 team

Both are due in Friday 6th January 2023

Date set: 02.12.22

In our RE sessions, we have begun to investigate the Christmas story from a Christian perspective. For your home learning this week, we would like you to research about advent. We would love to hear if, and how you celebrate advent in your household. This does not have to be religious.

Here are some links that may help:

You can present your findings, choosing a method of your choice!

Due date: Thursday 15th December 2022

Home learning 18th November 2022

In our PE lessons, we have been looking at ‘Health Related Exercise’. We would like you design your own circuit, with the aim of developing your cardiovascular fitness (heart health).

You can choose how you present your ideas. You may wish to create some activity cards to show your circuit, or you can film yourself leading the exercises (much like Joe Wicks) and email them to: office@highcliffeprimary.dorset.sch.uk for your teacher.

Many thanks for your support,

Year 5 Team

Due date: Friday 2nd December 2022
