Homework

Thank you for some great setting descriptions.  It was good to see you using some fronted adverbials and powerful vocabulary.  Well done for uploading to Microsoft Teams.

Please check you have uploaded your previous homework as we would erally like to see your efforts.

We are looking forward to seeing this week's homework.  Please try and use Microsoft Teams to submit your learning.  Read and records are also a document you can edit on Teams - just click on the word document and type in the title of the book you have read with the page numbers.

Maths:

Practise your times tables on Times Tables Rockstars at least 3 times a week.

Work has been set on Mathletics. Please complete the addition and subtraction tasks before you explore the rest of the site.  Remember you can use a sheet of paper for your jottings.

TOPIC (Science / Art / DT):

Look at the following link: https://www.solarsystemscope.com/

This is an interactive model of the solar system.

Your task is to create your own model of the solar system. Be creative and create it in any way you like!

Take a photo of your model and upload it onto this assignment.

Reading:

Please read (and enjoy) your school reading book and a reading book from home at least three times per week for a minimum of 20 minutes.  It's a really good idea to practise reading out loud for your expression.  We have added a reading record onto Teams.  Please can you complete a minimum of 3 separate entries.  (These don't all have to be your school reading book, you may have read a fact book about space, a recipe or a newspaper!)

Please use powerful language and capture the atmosphere of the music through your word choices. Please either submit your learning as a Word document, or take a photo of a hand written piece of work. Please do not send your work to the office via email. If there is a problem, speak to your teacher on Monday.
