Children eligible to start school for the first time in September 2026

If your child's date of birth is between 01.09.21 and 31.08.22 they will start school in September 2026 and the closing date for on time applications is 15th January 2026

Applying online is very simple and you will receive a confirmation email once you have submitted your application. To apply online go to the BCP Council website (www.bcpcouncil.gov.uk) and follow the links to Christchurch, schools and applying for a school place.

It is very important that your application is received by this date as you will stand a much greater chance of securing a place in one of your preferred schools.

Consultation on Highcliffe St Mark Primary Admission Arrangements for 2027/8

Consultation on the amendment of Admissions Criteria to take into account children attending Fledglings Pre-School.  

The consultation will run from 8th December 2025 to 24th January 2026 and you are invited to submit any comments in writing about the proposal above via email to office@highcliffeprimary.dorset.sch.uk.

Following the consultation period, Highcliffe St Mark Primary will consider any comments received.
