How to raise a concern at school

In the first instance, speak to a member of staff.  We have class teachers, Safeguarding Leads, an Anti- Bullying Champion, an Online Champion and a Designated teacher for Looked After Children who will always be happy to listen to any concerns.

How to raise a concern to Social Care

You can contact Children's Social Care through the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). This is the single point of contact for Children's Social Care and Early Help. It provides the public and professionals with information, advice and support for children who are vulnerable and at risk and is made up of the MASH and Early Help Teams.

Contact the Childrens First Response MASH if:

    • you are worried a child or young person is at risk of, or is being hurt or abused.
    • you know of a child or young person who may be vulnerable without additional help and support.
    • you want to know more about the services available to support children, young people and their families.

If the child lives in BCP Tel: 01202 735046 or email: MASH@bcpcouncil.gov.uk

Out of Hours Team on: 01202 738256 or email:  childrensOOHS@bcpcouncil.gov.uk
