Our school is blessed with outstanding grounds, including nature trails, wildlife areas, fields, a pond, swimming pool and woodland. These rich environments support learning, reflection and spiritual wellbeing, offering calm, inspiring spaces for our whole community.
We teach children to value and care for these gifts from the moment they join us. Through planting for pollinators, managing our woodland and caring for our pond, pupils take an active role in protecting and sustaining our environment.
Our grounds are truly a “classroom without walls.” Outdoor learning is an integral part of school life, supported by Forest School–trained staff and specialist outdoor providers. These experiences have a positive impact on children’s spirituality, mental health and wellbeing, particularly for our more vulnerable learners.
Our commitment to caring for God’s creation extends beyond our school gates. We are proud to be an Eco Schools Green Flag school, with pupils playing a leading role through our Eco Council in shaping how we care for our planet.
“The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.”
