Year 4 were incredibly lucky this week to receive a visit from 'New Milton Hedgehog Rescue'. This charitable organisation is based in New Milton and Highcliffe and they work tirelessly to care for sick or injured hedgehogs until they are ready to be released once again.  We learnt how we can help hedgehogs visiting our gardens, by putting water out for them and feeding them small cat or dog kibble. Any food including mealworms, nuts or sunflower hearts should be avoided.

Fun fact! Did you know that a new born hedgehog is called an 'urchin'?

If you would like to help support this charity, we are collecting old newspapers on their behalf.
