Children today grow up in a digital world, using the internet to learn, play and connect with others. This brings lots of exciting opportunities—but there can also be risks.

At our school, we teach children how to use the internet safely, respectfully and responsibly. Our aim is to help them make good choices online so they can enjoy all the brilliant things technology has to offer.

We teach online safety through our computing lessons and across many other subjects. Children learn how to:

• stay safe when using the internet and digital devices
• think carefully about their own online behaviour
• recognise when something doesn’t feel right
• build positive relationships with others
• look after their wellbeing and mental health

We are proud to have a school culture where cyberbullying is never tolerated. Any concerns are dealt with quickly and appropriately.
