To consolidate and enrich their learning about the circulatory system, Year 6 dissected lambs' hearts in Science.  We were able to identify the left and right atria and ventricles and the veins and arteries which lead to and from the heart.  We also discussed why the left side of the heart was larger and the muscle walls thicker.  Ask your child for the answer!
